Our division coordinates development cooperation programs at the ministry and sector levels in partnership with development partners. Our advice to Cabinet on the composition and prioritization of development cooperation programs to support government’s priorities (e.g. national goals in PDS) are funnelled through the CEO and Minister of Finance. We work diligently to ensure external financing requirements of all sectors are secured and then provide guidance and advice to ensure optimalutilisation of these external assistance.

We guide national budget processes on development partner’s funding commitments and facilitate requests from ministries to these partners through the Aid Coordination Committee, while also monitoring aid-funded projects. Progress updates are shared with partners at donor roundtable meetings co-hosted with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
