We develop and oversee the National Energy Sector Plan in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, ensuring its effective coordination and implementation through the National Energy Coordinating Committee and the Energy Efficiency Monitoring Team & Petroleum Taskforce.  Our responsibilities include maintaining the energy data repository and monitoring various initiatives related to petroleum,energy efficiency, and energy conservation. Our policy advice on energy sector matters to the Cabinet are provided through the CEO of the Ministry and the Minister of Finance.

Our team is responsible for monitoring, calculation and monthly release of petroleum prices and raising awareness of the general public on petroleum guidelines, procedures, HSSE standards and energy efficient appliances.
