Our responsibilities include providing technical advice to the Government Tenders Board regarding procurement policy and contract management, as well as formulating and evaluating procurement policies tailored and contextualised to suit Samoa.  Our primary duties encompass monitoring the implementation of Government’s procurement policies, assisting in the development of standard bidding and contracting templates, delivering training on procurement guidelines, and promoting government procurement opportunities both nationally and internationally.

Our team is also responsible for maintaining all records related to government procurement proceedings, implementation of the Procurement Independent Complaints Review Mechanism, administration of tender advertisements on the e-Tendering Portal, and as necessary, providing secretarial support to the Cabinet Sub-Committee overseeing tender processes.
