The Pathway for the Development of Samoa 2021/22 – 2025/26, or the PDS as its commonly known, supersedes the Strategy for the Development of Samoa(SDS).  The PDS is Samoa’s key national development planning document with a ‘people first’ focus.  The Pathway has five (5) Key Strategic Outcomes (KSO): (i) improved social development; (ii) diversified and sustainable economy; (iii) security and trusted governance; (iv) secured environment and climate change; and (v) structured public works and infrastructure.  The PDS aspires to nurture growth that benefit all of our people; promising the pursuit of enhanced human development to help overcome hardship for the poor and vulnerable people.  The PDS espouses the Government’s commitment to empower communities to enable them to access opportunities that will help them reach their full potential and enjoy a better quality of life.
