We are committed to ensuring the security of our national data so our team is always on alert for data breaches and cyber security threats. We work hand in hand with MCIT to ensure our systems are compliant with the National Cyber Security Policy and manage and update our ICT Disaster Readiness Plan in preparation for worse case scenarios.

Our team is also responsible for maintaining and providing technical support for the government’s integrated Financial Management Information System or Finance One as it’s widely known.  Managing upgrades, configuration changes and preparation of customized reports from the system is a function our team takes seriously.   Proper utilisation of Finance One by users is integral to the efficient and effective processing of government payments and monitoring purposes. Our team not only ensures the quality of data is maintained at the highest level, we also provide trainings for users of the system to ensure data integrity and system is not exposed to any potential threats. Our responsibilities encompass the provision of effective IT support and solutions aimed at optimising customer satisfaction while ensuring all services are in line with national ICT policies.  Our team is tasked with the administration and maintenance of the Ministry's Local Area Network (LAN) as well as the Government Wide Area Network (GWAN) infrastructure.
