Our team is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient use of public funds particularly in relation to the government payroll and financial operations.  This work is implemented in accordance with the PFM Act 2001.  We prepare the annual public accounts in collaboration with all ministries and public bodies and also prepare quarterly financial statements of the Government.

We provide oversight of the Government's cash flow which is facilitated through the Cash Flow Management Committee.  Additionally, we work diligently to enhance awareness and ensure compliance by line ministries of accounting of public financial management requirements, through the Chief Accountants Forum.
