The Deputy Chief Executive Officer (DCEO) – Policy is a strategic leadership role within the Executive Management team of the Ministry of Finance. This position is responsible for driving the Ministry’s economic, fiscal, and development policy agenda in line with national priorities and international best practices.
The DCEO – Policy leads the coordination, formulation, and monitoring of public finance and economic policies, ensuring alignment with Samoa’s development goals. The role also facilitates stakeholder engagement, regional and international representation, and promotes evidence-based policy development through research and analysis.
