Petroleum Unit

The Ministry of Finance is the lead agency for the petroleum subsector within the broader energy sector framework.  Under the Energy Sector, there are four subsectors:

• Energy Efficiency led by MWTI
• Renewable Energy led by MNRE
• Electricity led by EPC; and
• Petroleum led by the Ministry of Finance
