Submitting a Complaint Regarding Fuel Quality
If you suspect receiving contaminated fuel and wish to file a complaint, please refer to the following instructions. Prompt contact is imperative to facilitate an inspection and sample collection for analysis while the suspect product is accessible.
Upon filing a complaint, PTF inspectors will visit the site and conduct various assessments based on the nature of the complaint, such as:
- Inspecting the storage tank for water presence
- Checking the pump and hoses for issues
- Collecting a fuel sample for analysis
Kindly note that the Petroleum Task Force cannot assist in recovering expenses related to the purchase of contaminated fuel. However, you retain the right to pursue damages from the individuals or entities responsible for selling the product.
