The Regional Fiscal Risk Management Workshop kicked off yesterday at the Sheraton Hotel and will run until 18 September 2026.
Funded by PFTAC, the workshop brings together representatives from Ministries of Finance across the Pacific to share experiences and explore practical tools for managing risks to government budgets, with a focus on state-owned enterprises, climate change and natural disasters.
Through hands-on exercises and peer learning, participants will identify practical actions to strengthen budgeting and decision-making, helping governments protect essential services and better respond to community needs.
