The Ministry of Finance through the Internal Audit and Investigation Division's co-hosted workshop with the World Bank Group for three incredible days came to a close!

The final day wrapped up with a powerful session on Fraud Investigations, where participants explored the Fraud Triangle, real-world fraud and corruption indicators, and the critical role internal auditors play in safeguarding public resources.

The highlight of the day was seeing every participant receive their well-earned certificate of attendance.

A huge fa'afetai tele to our lead facilitator Ms. Sue Morrison and Ms. Yolanda Cao of the World Bank Group for your expertise, warmth and genuine investment in building internal audit capacity across the Government of Samoa.

We also extend our formal acknowledgement to all participants, including internal auditors from across the Government of Samoa, as well as staff of the Samoa Audit Office and the Ministry of Public Enterprises. We commend your engagement, professionalism, and steadfast commitment demonstrated throughout the three-day workshop.
