The two-day program for the Finance Sector Annual Review 2025 was officially opened this morning at the TATTE Convention Centre. Led by Reverend Iese Uele of EFKS Vaiala in devotion with keynote address delivered by Honorable Mulipola Anarosa Molio'o, the first day's program included the launching of two key national planning tools, the Sector Planning Manual and the Project Planning & Programming Manual.
The mid-term review of the current Finance Sector Plan 2022/23-2026/27 was presented and participants were later engaged through three Panel Discussions on the topics: "No One Left Behind: Building a Social Protection System that Works for All Samoans", "Leveraging Diaspora Finance for Inclusive Growth/From Investment", and "Safeguarding Samoa's Global Financial Connectivity: Strengthening Correspondent Banking Relationships (CBRs)".
The Annual Review program is expected to continue tomorrow with more panel discussions lined up and an evening session with the private sector before officially wrapping up this year's annual event.
