Energy Suppliers in the country are the Electric Power Corporation (EPC), Petroleum Products Supplies Ltd (PPS), Mobil Oil Ltd, British Oxygen Company (BOC) and Origin Energy. EPC is the sole produce and supplier of electricity in Samoa. The PPS has been given the contract for 5 years from 2009 to 2014 to distribute fuel across the country. Mobil Oil has also been given a 5 year contract to supply fuel for Samoa until 2013. Both contracts are reviewed at the end of 5 year and go through a tendering process every 5 years. BOC and Origin Energy both supply and distribute gas in the country.
