Selected as a Member of the Eminent Persons' Group (EPG) in January 2007. Members of the EPG met/discussed with former members of the ousted Fiji Government (former Members of Parliament and other political parties), civil society and unions as well as members of the Fiji Human Rights Party, the coup in Fiji. On 16 March 2007, the EPG presented its report to the Pacific Forum in Vanuatu.
